IMPROVEMENTS: Betterment, amelioration, amendment, reformation, advance,   progression, renovation, furtherance.

STEAM: Vaporized water, fumes, vapor, water vapor, smoke.

FACT:  Reality, actuality, truth.

ENCOURAGED: Help, aid, foster, sanction, approve, incite, spur, sustain, fortify,      promote, boost. 

ACHIEVEMENTS: the act of reaching a goal: Attainment, realization,              actualization, completion, execution.
